Its Malta licence is verified. MGA/B2B/780/2020 belongs to Earlybird Ltd, and the verification link on this card opens the Malta Gaming Authority's own register instead of a PDF on the vendor's website — the difference between a claim and a fact, and rarer here than it should be.

Founded in 2018, the company is young by the standards of this directory, where Playtech dates to 1999 and NetRefer to 2005. Seven years is enough to have shipped a real product and not enough to have accumulated much history, so ask about roadmap and retention, not pedigree. Headquarters sit in Birkirkara, Malta, with offices in Riga, Sliema, Budva and Barcelona — engineering in the Baltics and Balkans, commercial presence closer to the licensing centres. EGR and SBC have both given BETBY awards, and the company describes itself as an annual winner at MiGEA, though no years are recorded against any of them. Ask for the categories and the dates.

BETBY publishes less about markets, pricing, clients and integration than nearly any other supplier here, so a shortlist decision will rest on a demo and a reference call. Request both early, and ask specifically which operators run on the platform today and in which regulated markets.
