What we found

Sportradar did not start in gambling and still does not depend on it. The company sells sports data — scores, statistics, live tracking — collected from competitions worldwide, and the betting products are what that data became once bookmakers turned out to be its best customers. Twenty-five years, 3,900 staff and thirty offices from Minneapolis to Manila exist to feed that pipeline.

For an operator the practical consequence is sequence. Buying a sportsbook from Sportradar means buying the odds, the settlement and the in-play markets from the company that owns the underlying feed, rather than from an intermediary licensing it. Fewer hands between the event and the price on your screen usually means fewer disputes about which was right.

The integrity work is where this gets genuinely unusual: the same Universal Fraud Detection System that watches bets for suspicious patterns is sold to leagues and federations who use it to police their own competitions. AI monitors social media for match-fixing signals, and player profiling runs alongside. An operator gets fraud detection built by people whose other clients are the sports themselves — and should be clear-eyed that Sportradar therefore sits on both sides of that relationship.

Turnkey delivery and API integration cover the rest, with more than 330 partners named in aggregate. North America, South America and Asia Pacific are the markets listed, and the American presence is not incidental — Sportradar built out Minneapolis, New York and Las Vegas as state-by-state legalisation opened.

What this card does not show is a licence record, which for a supplier of this size means the details live in state and national registers rather than in one place. If you are launching in a regulated US state, ask for the specific supplier licence number in that state and verify it with the regulator before you shortlist.
