What we found

Comtrade Gaming has been writing gaming software since 2001 and belongs to a Slovenian engineering group founded in 1996 — a lineage from outside gambling, in enterprise software. That shows in the one thing this supplier sells hardest: independence.

"No lock-in to a specific vendor" is the line on its platform page, and the client list proves it is not marketing. Amatic, Bally, Atronic, Inspired, Genting Alderney — these are suppliers and operators who bought a platform precisely because it would not force their content choices. A company whose own customers are competitors to one another has to stay neutral to keep them.

Certification is the broadest technical set in this batch, and unusually it reaches outside gambling. GLI certifies the G2S protocol engine, SIQ certifies the iCore platform, and ISO 9001:2015 covers quality management — a manufacturing standard rather than a gaming one, which fits a company that also builds casino management systems for physical floors.

Two licences are on record: the British Gambling Commission under reference 25830, and a Class II licence from Romania's ONJN.

What you buy is modular by design — casino platform, sportsbook, game content and CRM, integrated piece by piece over API rather than taken whole. There is no white label and no turnkey here; Comtrade expects you to own your operation and to be replacing something underneath it.

Three hundred and eighty people work across seven technology centres, though the company names only Ljubljana publicly. Pricing is not published, and for an enterprise platform sold this way it will be a scoped project rather than a rate card — budget for a discovery phase before you get a number.
